During the third quarter of 2021, the top 5 communication apps on the Android platform in Madagascar saw varying performance trends, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Messenger from Meta Platforms, Inc. experienced a steady increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $11 in mid-July. Weekly downloads showed an upward trend, reaching around 2.3K by early August before fluctuating and ending the quarter at roughly 2K. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, starting at 234K and finishing the quarter at around 243K.

Telegram from Telegram FZ-LLC saw a decrease in weekly downloads, starting at 1.5K at the beginning of the quarter and dropping to about 455 by the end of September. However, weekly active users increased from 32.3K to approximately 39.4K over the same period.
